Happy 15th Birthday to my granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Kemper!
I am babysitting full time. It is not leaving room for jewelry, but my daughter needs me so I must help my family when I can. Have a wonderful day!

New Year, New Page
My grandma passed away on December 30th, 2011, 13 days shy of her 100th Birthday.
In 2011 there were three events that are very wonderful. My younger son Ryan has made a great turn in his life. He is gay and has found the greatest guy, Keith and I love him to pieces! They are alike in so many ways, they were meant for each other. Also my granddaughter Aaliyah had a very bad accident, a TV fell off her dresser and how she was not killed, well I know there was someone watching over her, I think it was my oldest son John who is in heaven now, as he told Molly he felt such a connection to her and just loved her when he met her. If not John, the McKayla. We did think McKayla was going to be Aaliyah's guardian Angel. Jim secured a good job and in two years we should be back to making what he was before his old company let him go. Unfortunately we suspect he was let go because they did not want to pay him commission on his very large account. That news upset me a lot. They'll get theirs when Jim takes that account back with the company he is with now. They'll get whats coming to them, I'm sure of it.
New Year, new page. I am once again going to believe that this is going to be a good year for me. Good in bad out.

I have been very busy! I am taking a class at the Mesa Arts Center and I love it. It is a jewelry fabrication class. Jim found a job and may be getting another job with better pay. Keep your fingers crossed! The Festival of Lights is just two weeks away and that means Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I love the holidays and look forward to all the kids and grandkids coming to visit. This Wednesday I go in front of the Veterinary Board again to give more details on Lola's death at the hands of the Vet. I'll keep everyone updated. Have a nice week!

And it continues........
Jim has lost his job. How much is one family supposed to endure? Thankfully we have wonderful friends who have some very good contacts. Were hoping something comes along and who knows, maybe it will be better. I won the first round with my complaint against the vet. I go to another hearing on September 21st to see if the recommendation is upheld. Think good thoughts for me please.

Where to begin.....
This has been another hard year for me. I lost my job, my son John passed away in May, my dog Lola was basically killed by a negligent veterinarian and her staff at Banfield in Chandler (hearing August 2nd, 2011 in front of the veterinary board) and my granddaughter Aaliyah almost died in a freak accident. Being an artist in any form takes some balance in your lfe. I, as you can see have not had any. I try, that is apparent, but how do you create when your not present in the moment to do so!
But I am working on creating balance in my life. I will create a schedule and work to stick to it. Before my son passed away I was going to the gym mon-fri and I was focusing on being healthy. I am not a defeatest in any way but it seems when I get my life on track, the other shoe drops. Jim and I were on a cruise in May and I was sitting on the balcony watching the ocean and horizon crying my eyes out. I felt guilty being on the cruise after my son had just passed away but Jim came out and sat with me and we talked for two hours about how it is all a part of life, not necessarily fair, but I can't help him in that moment so I may as well learn to be accepting of what life sends my way and push forward. That is what I am going to do. I have so much to be thankful for, and other than trying to make the vet that killed my Lola, by the way she was just there for a teeth cleaning, I am working on my quality of life. I am also hoping this will allow me to be the artist I know I am. Stay tuned, I have taken up my first art form again, crocheting. My grandmother taught me to crochet at 5 years old and I have done some off and on for 51 years. It's coming back in the form of hats mostly. They make me smile so I hope they will you too. McKenna is modeling on on the My family page.
Much love to all..........
Sincerely, Kristine
*New beads on the Beads page and a special offer on rings on the More Kreations page.*
I love this picture of my granddaughter Mary and wanted to share it with everyone. I will be making beads so if you have any requests please share them with me!

Ok, with all the rage being facebook, twitter, and all the other new social netorks making the scene it is very difficult to keep up. I have been stressing over how do I keep all these pages up to date. It isn't going to happen people, it isn't realistic! I have a family to give my attention to and that is first and foremost, then comes my friends. I will be here, and I will update and make beads and all that fun stuff, but it is what it is and there is always someone out there ready to stepin and grab your thunder. I want to empower women to help each other and I just have a hard time with those that get in my way. I can't dwell on that too much or it will eat me alive. So if there isn't anything here, try looking at the little icons on the left and see if I posted on my social pages or visit my Etsy shop shown on the right. I love having my own web page and we will see where I go from here.

My Grandma passed away on December 30th, 2011, 13 days shy of 100 years old. I am going to miss her so much. She was an inspiration to me throughout my entire life. I know my skills with my hands are from her and I secured a government job just like she did so I would have a good retirement. RIP Grandma, well deserved indeed.
